With our single-stream recycling system, all your recyclables—including paper and cardboard, glass, plastic, and metal containers—are conveniently collected in one receptacle and picked up every two weeks with your trash. It’s easy—and it’s now required by law in Westchester and Putnam Counties.
Every item you recycle helps keep our planet cleaner, conserves water, wood, and other natural resources, and reduces energy usage, pollution, and the need for landfill space. Thank you for doing your part to preserve and protect our environment.

Curbside bulk pick-up alternates with recycling pick-up every two weeks and is limited to 1-2 household items per pick-up. Items must be at the curb the night before your scheduled pick-up. The following items are excluded: paint, chemicals, liquids, stumps, trees, masonry, lumber, logs, bricks, used oil, batteries, stone, tires, propane tanks, construction, renovation, or remodeling debris including kitchens, bathrooms, decks, and windows. Not responsible for curbside pick-up of refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, etc. unless they have been de-charged and certified by an individual or entity licensed by the State of New York.
